Earn Extra Summer Income with Martial Arts Morning Camp
With students paying over $100 a week for 10 weeks, it doesn’t take too many students to add up to significant income for summer camp. Most of our schools charge more for each week, so our schools regularly earn an extra $25,000 to $200,000 in summer camp income. It is the best way to increase your school’s income during the otherwise slow summer months.
Unfortunately, not every martial arts school wants to commit to a full time summer camp. Although the rewards are high, the hours are long. These schools can still earn income, but a little less, by holding a “smaller” summer camp.
One alternative is to hold a short martial arts summer camp for a week or two, much like basketball camp or soccer camp. If you can enroll 25 students for $149 a week, that’s over $3,500 in extra income each week to help you through the summer.
Another alternative is to offer martial arts morning camp from 8:00 am until 12:00 noon. You can allow morning students to attend your regular summer camp if you have extra room, or you can hold just morning camp so you can continue to offer noon adult classes throughout the summer, or you can offer morning camp for just a few weeks, like the soccer-style camp described above.
