Looking at today’s volatile, unpredictable world one can see that real-world self-defense, situational awareness, and personal preservation are needed more than ever. People are being victimized not only on the streets but in their homes, schools, places of worship and businesses as well. Most attacks happen at random with the underlying majority being hate crimes, robberies, car-jackings or wrong-place wrong-time scenarios. The only common element of being targeted is extensive physical harm to the victim(s), making headlines while stealing their personal possessions. I personally don’t believe that any material possession is worth risking your life over and yet there are some people that disagree. That’s why in defense of oneself
