Contrary to what we think, the rational mind has very little power in the global human computation. Of course, reason defends itself with good reasoning about its importance, but the truth is that the prefrontal cortex is not such a big deal, especially for many gentlemen to whom the head serves only to wear a hat or sport a pigtail. I will not deny here what is obvious, that is, all those achievements that reason has brought us as a species.
