MAWN: Why do you think so many gyms, and other similar businesses failed during the COVID crisis, and how might that guide us through future challenges? LA: If we think of ourselves like Gold’s Gym then we won’t make it past times like that just as many of their gyms closed. In times like that, we have to lean in and be a bigger part of their lives. It comes down to what you think as the school operator that your relationship is with your students. If it’s like a gym membership, it won’t work, but if it is about relationship and development then you don’t even need a building
