Instagram Stories now have new caption stickers, providing auto-captions for videos. On their official Twitter account, Instagram stated, “Sound off…with sound off. Now you can add a captions sticker in Stories (coming soon to Reels) that automatically turns what you say into text.” Auto-captions are not 100% accurate, but users can still edit the text, color, position, and font. Instagram also plans to make the no “sound-off feature” available in Reels in the near future.
