MAWN: How do you connect it to your class lessons? DS: I designed it where I read the book or show the slideshow of chapter one. The kids watch it, get very excited and engaged because the mouse is wandering around, like a kid, outside not paying attention to what’s going on. Then suddenly a snake comes along and starts talking to him, but you can tell he’s got an ulterior motive. The mouse has a gut feeling that the situation isn’t good and tries to slowly, graciously, and politely get out of the situation.
