Back to Basics, Part 2
One of the things I always hated about going to those big group martial arts business seminars was that I got asked a few times, “What would you like to speak about this year?” I’d say, “How about we speak about the basics?” “Oh, that’s not shiny enough. Do you have a new fandangled something new that we could . . .” No, people don’t need new and bright. Let’s make the old systems, the basics, brand new and shiny because that’s what they need. Just buying a seminar in a box or a system, that’s not what’s going to make you successful. I have not strayed from my roots
