CHARLOTTE, NC (NBC) – A North Carolina woman is safe from an alleged kidnapping after seeking help from a group of karate experts. The unidentified woman was walking along the road when all of a sudden, she was approached by a man named August Williams. Authorities say the man charged towards the woman, so she started to run away which is when he began chasing her. That’s when the woman ran inside a karate dojo. Head instructor Randall Ephraim was holding a class when she told him she was being chased. Randall performed a basic self-defense move and waited for police to arrive.
