The Champions Education Fund believes that youth and teen black belts should be able to continue their hard work into college. In addition, another strong belief held by the charity is that the character and leadership of these black belts are needed to keep America strong. Finally a belief in the chance for an education is necessary to pursue your dreams. As a result of these core beliefs, the Champions Education Fund raises money to help worthy black belts pursue their dreams for college education. The winners from The US Open Taekwondo Hanmadang and other specified tournaments receive educational prize money to help in reaching these goals. This year’s event
