MAWN: You’ve implemented some programming in your martial arts school that has been instrumental in changing people’s lives, which has been a big catalyst for getting some really good press in your community. What is Rock Steady, how does it work? RB: Rock Steady boxing is a program that allows people with Parkinson’s disease an opportunity to fight the disease by providing a noncontact, boxing-style program. We’re finding out that it’s really improving the quality of their lives, but it’s also giving them some self-worth.
