It was announced by the First Lady of Texas that Chuck and his wife Gena Norris, are recipients of the Governor’s Lifetime Volunteer Achievement Award. It is an award that recognizes outstanding service of an individual who has volunteered at least 15 years in the communities of Texas. The Lifetime Volunteer Achievement Award is bestowed upon those special persons who recognize a community need and then find ways to powerfully serve in a voluntary capacity over many years to achieve good change. The Norris family has utilize his skill and celebrity to help young kids to deal with the challenges life throws their way by developing physical and mental strength.
