Out of no where, early on March 26, 2019 the former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion, Conor McGregor, sent out the following tweet: “Hey guys quick announcement, I’ve decided to retire from the sport formally known as “Mixed Martial Art” today. I wish all my old colleagues well going forward in competition. I now join my former partners on this venture, already in retirement.” This is the second time McGregor announced a retirement to suggest his career was over. He returned to fight after the first announcement and many believe this is just the lates ploy for him to gain some leverage in negotiations for his next fight. We’ll have
