MAWN: Can you give a brief overview of how you got started in the martial arts, and perhaps some of the things you’ve accomplished along the way? CN: I’ve been involved in the martial arts since I was a teenager. I started when I was around 13. I practiced TaeKwonDo, and I did a lot of Olympic style as far as competitions go. I was able to become a four-time state champion and a three-time Junior Olympics champion. I competed a lot in my youth. I stopped training and competing for a brief period of time, but since I came back to training, I have earned a fifth-degree black belt
