Most people have already done Chanbara without even knowing it. Almost everyone has pretended to be a knight in shining armor or a samurai, brandishing a stick and pretending it was Excalibur or a samurai sword; that youthful play is now sport. Many of those who enjoyed the essence of swashbuckling now often study and practice martial arts such as Kendo.
