Your most important skill as a school owner is your leadership ability. Nobody can run a successful martial arts business by themselves. Your ability to get the most out of others is a crucial component to the success of your school. Plus, your leadership role is twofold: with your staff and with your students. Taking an active leadership role requires a combination of different skills, and one of the most important is being able to lead by example. It’s one thing to tell your students and staff what to do, but it’s something else entirely to model for them exactly what you expect from them to make the most out
