Training for Protection: A Calling, Not Just a Job Karen is also active in the more ‘practical’ area of the Martial Arts. From the Dignitary Protection program, to the Federal Air Marshal Services tactical maneuvers programs, she is one of the few Women to be certified to deliver these types of important courses. She’s affiliated with the KDI Dignitary Protection Training, a renowned organization in the field. Here, participants, many of whom are not lifelong Martial Artists, gain firsthand insight into the demanding and often perilous world of those entrusted with safeguarding the lives of others. This training exposes them to the rigorous discipline, unwavering vigilance, and personal sacrifices required
