MAWN: Who is your hero in the martial arts industry? SHL: There are many Grandmasters I look up to for encouragement and advice. I am especially fortunate to have heroes. I use the plural here because I am thinking about my brothers. I have 5 brothers who all own and teach in their schools and they have 2 qualities that have impacted me: One is always to ask, “How can I be more successful?” and the other is, “How not to fail.” Each brother has traits that I look up to.
