MAWN: As you know, Taekwondo has over 100 million practitioners worldwide because of tournaments, including the Olympic Games. However, lately in advanced countries like the U.S. almost 90% of adults have left because of the contact. Can you offer any suggestions or solutions to improve our future? SHL: I enjoy tournaments, and many of my students do as well. However, focusing only on the sporting aspects of Taekwondo has left a significant gap in our training.
