A testament that my decision was correct occurred, of all places, while watching a movie about one of the greatest rappers of all time, and one of the biggest influences in my life, Biggie Smalls. In “Notorious,” there’s a scene that shows Biggie’s transformation in jail as he begins to make positive changes in his life.
