There is a clear, yet somewhat uncomfortable reality school operators must face on the path to success in their school(s). When you ask a school owner or professional instructor what business they are in, you’re likely to hear a few common answers. “I’m in the martial arts business”, “I teach martial arts lessons”, “I teach kids and families how to defend themselves”, perhaps even, “I’m in the character development business”, and more.
